About LGBTQ+ Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria is one of Europe's most popular gay destinations, and its scene centers on the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Ingles, a daytime shopping arcade that transforms after dark into a sprawling hub of gay bars, cafes, and clubs. Nearby, the Maspalomas dunes include a long-established gay beach area. The island's year-round warm climate draws visitors from across Europe in every season. Two major events anchor the calendar: Maspalomas Pride in spring and Winter Pride in November. The Yumbo Centre is the clear heart of it all, with venues stacked across several open-air levels.
