About Lavender Atlas

Lavender Atlas is the gay travel directory: more than 3,600 gay-friendly and gay-owned bars, hotels, resorts, restaurants, saunas, beaches, and Pride events across 270+ cities and 60+ countries, all in one place.

It exists because planning gay travel used to mean piecing together scattered blog posts, old forum threads, and lists where half the bars had already closed. The information was out there, just never in one place. So we built the place.

How the guide is built

Every listing is researched and checked by hand. The community submits places we have missed, and readers report anything out of date. We review submissions before they go live and act on reports quickly. Details change, so we always point you to confirm hours and entry policies with the venue before you go.

Who is behind it

Lavender Atlas is built and run by one person, on nights and weekends. That keeps it independent.
