A long-running summer Pride that stretches across several weeks of programming before closing with the parade, which rolls from Placa Universitat down to a main stage. Expect free concerts, talks and street events through the run, with the beach and the Eixample bars busy throughout.
Barcelona's main Pride, Pride Barcelona, takes place in late June or early July, centered on the Eixample district, also known as the Gaixample, with a parade and a stage program. In August the city draws an international crowd for Circuit Festival, one of the world's largest gay circuit events. Sitges, a short train ride south, adds its own celebrations. Summer is the high season for LGBTQ+ events in and around the city.
