About LGBTQ+ Tegucigalpa
Honduras decriminalized homosexuality long ago but constitutionally bans same-sex marriage, offers no legal recognition to same-sex couples, and remains one of the more dangerous countries in the region for LGBTQ+ people, with documented violence and limited protection. Against that backdrop, Tegucigalpa's queer scene is small, community-first, and discreet.
Nightlife runs to a handful of clubs and bars with drag shows, most active on weekends and reached best by direct rides after dark.
