Paris celebrates Pride with the Marche des Fiertes, usually held in late June, a large parade that crosses the city. The Marais, the historic gay quarter on the Right Bank, is the focal point for bars and events before and after the march. Crowds are substantial and central streets close for the route. June is the busy month for the city's LGBTQ+ calendar.
