Leicester has a sizeable, diverse gay scene for a Midlands city, with most venues near the city center and Cultural Quarter. Dover Castle is known for karaoke and drag bingo, Rainbow & Dove for cocktails and shows, and Helsinki is the main late-night club. Leicester Pride draws more than 10,000 people in late summer with a city-center parade and a park festival.
