Africa's oldest Pride, first marched in 1990. The march leaves at 2pm from Katherine Street in Sandton, with a free street festival running from 11am until midnight, at the end of a month of October Pride events.

Soweto's Pride, organised since 2004 by the Forum for the Empowerment of Women and centred on Black lesbian, queer and trans women and non-binary people. It takes place in late September and pairs a political march with a day of celebration.
