About LGBTQ+ Graz

Graz, Austria's second city, has a queer presence that feels local and community-driven rather than built around a single nightlife strip. Café Stars on Schönaugasse is a cozy long-running gay bar, and the RosaLila PantherInnen association anchors much of the organizing. The best-known event is the Tuntenball, a drag charity ball running since 1989 that has grown into one of the oldest and biggest of its kind in Europe, held each February. Graz Pride, the Grazer CSD, takes over the city center in July with a parade and street program.
