Gay Guide to Athens
Athens concentrates its gay nightlife in Gazi, the district that grew up around the Technopolis cultural center in the former gasworks, now full of bars, clubs, and cafes. Noiz is the main club, alongside Sodade2 and Koukles, many running until dawn. Athens Pride fills Syntagma Square in June with a parade and concert drawing around 100,000, the first full Pride cycle since Greece passed marriage equality in 2024. The capital pairs ancient sightseeing with a late-running summer scene and easy access to the islands.
