About

About LGBTQ+ Seattle

Seattle's LGBTQ+ life is concentrated on Capitol Hill, the dense, walkable neighborhood along the Pike/Pine corridor just east of downtown. It's one of the most gay-friendly cities in the United States, with a scene that ranges from leather and bear bars to lesbian and all-queer spaces, plus a strong calendar of nightlife and community events. Seattle Pride takes over downtown each June with one of the larger parades on the West Coast. Capitol Hill is compact enough to explore on foot, and most of the city's bars, clubs, and cafes sit within a few blocks of one another.
