About LGBTQ+ Prague
Prague's LGBTQ+ scene is concentrated in Vinohrady, a leafy district just east of the center that holds most of the city's gay bars and clubs. The Czech capital is one of Central Europe's more relaxed and affordable gay destinations, with nightlife that ranges from cozy bars to larger clubs. Prague Pride, held each August, has grown into a major week-long festival with a parade through the city center. Striking architecture, low prices, and a compact scene make it a popular weekend destination.
