About LGBTQ+ Morelia
Same-sex marriage is legal throughout Mexico, and Michoacán recognized it in 2016. Morelia, the pink-stone colonial capital of Michoacán and a UNESCO World Heritage city, offers a more relaxed, unhurried LGBTQ+ scene than Mexico City or Guadalajara.
The gay nightlife sits in the Centro Histórico. Mamá No Lo Sabe on Calle Aldama does drag, dancing and go-go nights, Sak Bar on Avenida Morelos Norte has a terrace and shows, and Soho Club Bar and K-Centro run drag and karaoke.

For men, Éxtasis on 20 de Noviembre and Milk on Allende are the cruising clubs, Baños Valladolid on Eduardo Ruiz is the bathhouse, and Amalove on Juan Ruiz de Alarcón is the sex shop.
The one venue outside the old town is Mo Fussion, the club out on the Periférico, formerly called Mirage, with shows and strippers. Everything else is walkable from the cathedral, and Morelia also holds its own Pride march.
