About LGBTQ+ Querétaro

Querétaro's state congress legalized same-sex marriage in September 2021, though this colonial city, long a stronghold of Catholic tradition, remains socially conservative and public affection is uncommon.

There's no defined gay district, and much of the scene is in the UNESCO-listed Centro Histórico. Maximiliano Cantina Gay on Calle Morelos has nightly drag, strippers and karaoke, Open Bar on Retablo has drag and a dance floor, and Cronos Spa on Allende Sur is the bathhouse.
