About LGBTQ+ Dijon
France decriminalized same-sex relations in 1791 and legalized marriage equality in 2013. Dijon, the historic capital of Burgundy known for its mustard, wine, and grand ducal palace, has a surprisingly solid LGBTQ+ scene for a mid-sized city.
A cluster of gay and gay-friendly bars, clubs, and cafes sits in the historic center, from long-running bars to rainbow-decked cocktail spots and daytime cafes.

The scene also includes Le Bossuet, one of the oldest and largest gay saunas in France, and an active community association, Contact Côte-d'Or.
Dijon Pride is the biggest event on the calendar, filling the old town with flags and queer events each year.
