A desert Pride held in early November, when the weather finally turns pleasant. The parade runs down Palm Canyon Drive on the Sunday, with a free multi-day festival across downtown either side of it and the resorts and bars programming around the weekend.
Palm Springs Pride is held in November, later than most, taking advantage of the comfortable autumn desert weather, with a parade and festival downtown near Arenas Road. The spring also brings the women-focused Dinah Shore Weekend, a major circuit event, though it is separate from Pride. The Arenas Road district and the Warm Sands resorts are the centers of activity. Hotels fill quickly around both.
