Gay Guide to Palm Springs
Palm Springs is one of the most concentrated gay destinations in the United States, a desert resort city where much of the tourism economy is built around LGBTQ+ visitors. The scene splits between Warm Sands, a district of adults-only and largely clothing-optional gay men's resorts, and Arenas Road, a walkable downtown strip of bars and clubs. The city hosts Palm Springs Pride in November, the women-focused Dinah Shore Weekend in spring, and the Cinema Diverse film festival in the fall. Warm winters and an easygoing pace make it a year-round getaway, busiest from fall through spring.
