About LGBTQ+ Dallas

Dallas concentrates its LGBTQ+ life in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, along the Cedar Springs Road strip, a dense run of bars and clubs that anchors the scene. The city is known for large dance venues, a strong country-western tradition, and an active community calendar. Dallas Pride, which moved to June in recent years, draws big crowds. Oak Lawn is walkable and busy year-round, and the wider metro is home to one of the larger LGBTQ+ populations in the southern United States.
