Brazil legalized same-sex marriage in 2013, and Uberlândia, a large, fast-growing commercial city in the Triângulo Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, backs its LGBTQ+ community with one of the interior's longer-running Pride traditions. The scene is modest but well established.
