Seoul's gay nightlife splits between two districts. Homo Hill, a short lane in Itaewon, is the international, club-focused scene most visitors reach first, busiest Thursday through Sunday after midnight. Jongno 3-ga, the city's original gay quarter since the late 1970s, holds around 75 small, mostly local bars clustered in quiet blocks. The Seoul Queer Culture Festival in early summer is one of Asia's largest Pride events.
