About LGBTQ+ Hamburg
Hamburg's LGBTQ+ scene centers on the St. Georg district, particularly along Lange Reihe, a street of gay bars, cafes, and shops near the main train station. Germany's big northern port city pairs this with the nightlife of the nearby St. Pauli and Reeperbahn area. Hamburg Pride and its Christopher Street Day celebration take place in summer and draw large crowds. The scene is open and walkable, with St. Georg serving as the clear day-to-night anchor for the community.
