About LGBTQ+ Frankfurt

Frankfurt's gay nightlife concentrates in the Bermudadreieck, the "Bermuda Triangle" cluster of bars near the Zeil in the city center, nicknamed for its lack of mandated closing times, with a second long-established district in Sachsenhausen around Schweizer Strasse. Long-running spots include La Gata and Iron Bar. Christopher Street Day fills the city each July, one of Germany's largest Pride events, with a parade of dozens of floats and a full cultural program. Germany passed marriage equality in 2017, and the finance capital pairs its central European hub location with a compact, dependable gay scene that runs later than almost anywhere else in the country.
