About LGBTQ+ Asunción
Homosexuality is legal in Paraguay, but the country offers no legal recognition of same-sex couples and remains one of South America's more socially conservative capitals. Even so, Asunción's nightlife has been revitalized in recent years, and its queer scene has grown along with it.
The leafy Villa Morra neighborhood and the buzzing Paseo Carmelitas district hold much of the action, including inclusive clubs like KÖR Club known for their LGBTQ+ nights.
