Glad Day Bookshop

Former Toronto queer bookstore (closed).

Founded in 1970 and regarded as the oldest LGBTQ+ bookshop in the world. After 55 years on Church Street it moved in 2025 to Lisgar Street, just off Queen West, selling queer and trans books, coffee and merch by local artists, with book launches and community events.
