About LGBTQ+ Córdoba
Argentina became the first country in Latin America to legalize same-sex marriage, in 2010, and followed with a landmark gender identity law in 2012. Córdoba, the country's second city and a major university town, channels its huge student population into a small but spirited queer scene.
The hip, bohemian Güemes neighborhood is the unofficial gayborhood, its streets packed with trendy restaurants, art bars, and most of the city's gay clubs and discos.
