Palm Springs Pride 2026: How to Plan the Weekend

Palm Springs does Pride in November, once the desert cools off. The parade route, the free festival, the pool parties and where to stay for November 5 to 8, 2026.

Most Pride celebrations happen in June. Palm Springs waits until November, because a desert summer here runs past 110°F and nobody wants to march in that.

Greater Palm Springs Pride turns 40 this year. It runs from Thursday, November 5 to Sunday, November 8, 2026, and the festival itself is free. Here is how the weekend fits together.

The festival is free

The festival takes over three stretches of downtown: Palm Canyon Drive between Amado and Baristo, Arenas Road between Palm Canyon and South Calle Encilia, and Museum Way. Admission is free for everyone.

Thursday starts gently with a walkabout on Arenas Road from 5 p.m. The Arenas stage runs Friday from 3 to 11:30 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday the Amado DJ stage and the Community stage open too.

The parade: Sunday at 10 AM

The parade steps off at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, at Tachevah Drive and Palm Canyon in the Uptown Design District. It heads south through downtown and ends at the festival entrance at Amado, so you can watch it pass and walk straight into the party. Thousands line the palm-shaded route, so pick your spot on Palm Canyon early.

The pool parties

Palm Springs Pride wouldn’t be complete without a pool, and there are two official parties:

  • Friday Pride Pool Party, Friday, November 6, 2 to 6 p.m., at the Palm Springs Surf Club, 1500 S Gene Autry Trail.
  • CCBC Rainbow Splash, Saturday, November 7, noon to 4 p.m., at CCBC Resort in Cathedral City.

Tickets and details for both are on pspride.org.

Arenas Road: one block, six bars

Arenas Road is the center of gay Palm Springs all year, and on Pride weekend it is also one of the festival stages. Six bars sit within a single block: Streetbar, QUADZ, Chill Bar, Dick’s on Arenas, Hunters and Blackbook. You can hop between all six without crossing a street.

Where to stay: Warm Sands

Just southeast of downtown, Warm Sands packs a cluster of gay resorts into a few quiet blocks: El Mirasol Villas, Casa Oliver, Vista Grande, The Hacienda, Desert Paradise and Inndulge, with Santiago close by. Rooms go early for Pride weekend, so book soon.
